Terms of Use

Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Radiant Camera ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

About the App

Radiant Camera is a camera app for iPhone that captures photos and video with film emulation effects. Photos and videos you capture belong to you and are saved to your Photo Library.

License

Tama Studio grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal use, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service. Photos and videos you capture with Radiant Camera are yours to use for any purpose, including commercial work.

Subscriptions

Some features ("Radiant Pro") require a paid subscription sold through the Apple App Store.

  • Free trial: A one-time free trial may be offered to new users. The trial does not auto-convert to a paid subscription unless you explicitly subscribe.
  • Billing: Payments are charged to your Apple ID and managed by Apple. Manage renewal and cancellation in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Entitlements: Pro features remain available while your subscription or trial is active. When it ends, Pro-only capabilities (such as capturing in Pro-only formats, applying Custom Emulations, and Cloud Sync) stop working, and Pro-only settings revert to free defaults. Your captured photos, saved Recipes, and imported LUTs remain on your device. Imported LUTs become inactive until Pro is reactivated.
  • Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple under the App Store refund policy.

User Responsibilities

When using the App, you agree to:

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Not use the App for any unlawful or prohibited purpose
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its services
  • Not redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App

Intellectual Property

The App and everything that ships with it (design, code, built-in film looks, graphics, and related materials) is owned by Tama Studio and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Photos and videos you capture using Radiant Camera belong to you. We claim no ownership over your creative work.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, or accuracy of results.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tama Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of data, loss of photos, or device damage) arising from your use of the App.

Device Requirements

Radiant Camera requires iOS 18 or later. It runs on every iPhone that supports iOS 18 (iPhone XS, XR, SE 2nd generation, and later). Certain advanced capture features depend on specific hardware and may not be available on older or non-Pro models. We are not responsible for issues arising from use on unsupported devices.

Online Features

Some features depend on online services we operate, including Recipe Hub and its comments, the Emulation catalog, photo submissions, voting, usernames, push notifications, and in-app feedback. These may be temporarily unavailable, and we may modify, throttle, or discontinue specific online features at any time without notice. Once your captured photos, your Recipes (whether you created them or downloaded them from Recipe Hub), and your imported LUTs have been saved locally, they remain on your device regardless of online availability.

Community Content and Conduct

The App lets you publish content to community-facing surfaces, including:

  • Submitting photos to the public Radiant gallery
  • Publishing Recipes to Recipe Hub
  • Posting comments and replies on Recipes in Recipe Hub
  • Claiming a username that is displayed alongside what you publish
  • Voting on, and leaving feedback about, Emulations and Recipes
  • Sending us feedback messages, which may include a screenshot you attach

Together we call these "User Submissions". Each User Submission is opt-in. Nothing is published unless you take an explicit action to share it. Before your first username claim or your first comment, the App asks you to agree to these Terms; posting means you accept them and the zero-tolerance policy below.

Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for what you submit. By submitting, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have all necessary rights to the content (photos, recipes, comments, names, and any other material included)
  • The content does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights
  • The content is not unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable
  • Any people identifiable in submitted photos have consented to your sharing the photo
  • You are not impersonating another person, brand, or Tama Studio itself

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour in Radiant Camera. This is not a warning about repeat offences — a single violation is enough. Objectionable content includes, without limitation, content that is illegal, sexually explicit, violent or gory, hateful or discriminatory, harassing, threatening, bullying, defamatory, deceptive, spam, or that promotes self-harm or illegal activity.

If you post objectionable content or abuse other users, we will remove the content and eject you: your comments are removed, your username is revoked and retired, and your access to community features is terminated without notice or refund. We review every report we receive and act on it — removing content, revoking usernames, and ejecting offenders — within 24 hours of the report.

Usernames

You may claim a username to be credited for what you publish. Usernames work as follows, and it is important that you understand what they are and are not:

  • Not a verified account: a username is not an account, a login, or a verified identity. There is no sign-up, no password, and no identity verification of any kind. An optional recovery email address, if you add one, exists only so we can confirm a request to move your username to a new device — we do not verify it and it does not make a username an account. We do not know and cannot confirm who is behind a username, and nothing in the App should be read as us vouching for anyone.
  • Bound to an anonymous device identity: your username is attached to the random, anonymous identifier the App generates on your device. Whoever holds that identifier holds the username. If you delete and reinstall the App, or move to a new device, the identifier is not recoverable and neither is the username.
  • Claimed, not owned: usernames are granted on a first-come basis and remain our property. Names that impersonate people or brands, that are offensive, or that are reserved for the platform may not be claimed.
  • Revocable: we may revoke a username at any time and without notice — in particular for impersonation, offensive handles, or abuse. A revoked username is retired rather than returned to the pool, so it cannot be re-claimed by anyone.
  • Retired on change: if you change your username, the old one is retired and held for you rather than released to other users, so nobody can inherit the identity your older posts are credited to.

Comment review, reporting, and blocking

Comments and replies are reviewed by us before they appear publicly. When you post, your comment is held for review; it is visible to you while it waits, and it becomes visible to other users only once it has been approved. We may reject a comment without explanation.

You also have tools of your own:

  • Report: any published comment can be reported from the App. Reports go to our moderators, and we act on them within 24 hours.
  • Block: you can block another user from the App. A blocked user's comments are hidden from you, and a user you have blocked cannot reply to you. Blocking is your own filter — it is private, it does not notify the person you blocked, and it does not by itself remove their content for anyone else. Use Report for content that breaks these Terms.
  • Delete your own comments: you can delete any comment you posted, at any time, from the App.

License you grant us

You retain ownership of your User Submissions. By submitting, you grant Tama Studio a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for technical purposes such as resizing or transcoding), publicly display, distribute, and promote your User Submission within the App, on related Tama Studio websites and marketing materials, and through Recipe Hub. The license lasts for as long as the User Submission is hosted by us, plus a reasonable period afterwards for backup, archival, and promotional reference.

You also grant other users of the App the rights granted to them by the App's intended functionality, such as downloading and applying a Recipe you published.

Moderation and removal

We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, remove, refuse to feature, restrict access to, or refuse to approve any User Submission for any reason, including suspected violation of these Terms. We may also suspend or terminate access to community features for any user whose conduct violates these Terms. You can request removal of your own User Submission by emailing us; we will action reasonable requests promptly, though copies may persist in backups for a limited time.

Deleting your hub profile

You can delete your hub profile at any time from inside the App. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. When you delete it:

  • Recipes and photos you published stay live, but stop being attributed to you. Other users have already downloaded and voted on them, so the content and its vote and download counts remain; your username is removed from it and it is shown without an owner.
  • Your comments and replies are deleted. Where a comment of yours has replies from other users, its text is erased and it is de-attributed rather than removed outright, so that those replies are not orphaned.
  • Your feedback conversations with us are deleted, along with any reports you filed and any blocks you set.
  • Your notifications and push notification registrations are deleted, so we can no longer reach your device.
  • Your username is retired, not released. Nobody — including you — can claim it again, so it cannot be picked up by an impersonator.

Copies may persist in backups for a limited time before they age out. Deleting your hub profile does not cancel a Radiant Pro subscription; manage that in iOS Settings, and see the Subscriptions section above.

Updates and Termination

We may update the App to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance, and may modify or discontinue the App at any time without prior notice. We may also suspend or terminate your access to the App for conduct that violates these Terms or harms others.

Apple App Store

Radiant Camera is licensed, not sold, to you for use only under these Terms. The following clauses apply because the App is distributed through the Apple App Store:

  • Parties: These Terms are an agreement between you and Tama Studio only, not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Tama Studio, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
  • Scope of license: The license granted to you is limited to a non-transferable license to use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms.
  • Maintenance and support: Tama Studio is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services for the App. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services.
  • Warranty: To the extent any warranty exists under applicable law and has not been disclaimed, Tama Studio is solely responsible for it. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App.
  • Product claims: Tama Studio, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the App or your possession or use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
  • Intellectual property: In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Tama Studio, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
  • Legal compliance: You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Third-party beneficiary: Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
